The IOGear Bluetooth Audio Transport allows you to listen to music from Bluetooth enabled audio devices, whether portable or not, such as MP3s, CD players, computers, or PDAs without any wired connection to them. In addition to this, it also allows you to make or receive calls from a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone using the integrated microphone. You can be as far as 10 meters from the music machines and still enjoy MP3-quality stereo sound, or from your cell phone and still have a clear and distinct conversation with a caller.
Simply clip the receiver on your shirt and plug in the speakers into your ears. These are both lightweight that it is easy to forget you have them on. The receiver integrates a control joystick that allows you to play, pause, or stop the music; adjust volume up and down; and advance to the next track, or back it up. The speakers are of a binaural ear bud type. They deliver clear and crisp stereo sound with frequencies ranging from 20Hz to 20KHz.
The Audio Transport’s protocol is a Bluetooth 1.2. It is compatible with A2DP and AVRCP. It also works with headset and hands-free profiles.
A built-in rechargeable battery supplies power to the device for up to six hours of music playing.
