The HA-W700BT supports Bluetooth 2.0 and A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP profiles making it compatible with a long list of Bluetooth-enabled audio devices and mobile phones. An optional transmitter, the AA-T100BT, is also available for compatibility with fourth-generation and later iPod models.
The headset consists of binaural in-ear earphones and a Bluetooth receiver. Eleven-millimeter neodymium driver units that deliver a frequency range of 10Hz to 23 kHz guarantee clear, crisp, and distinct stereo sound from the earphones.
